Hello, it’s great meeting you! I’m John Murphy and in April of 2022 I joined the wonderful team here at Energy Insurance Agency!
Actually, Insurance is my life story I grew up in my father’s agency in Western Kentucky. In 2006 I obtained my Kentucky Property & Casualty License and started my Personal and Farm Insurance career. While attending Murray State University I met my wife Beth and in 2011 we moved to Central Kentucky to start a family of our own. We now have one son Colin and our dog Piper. In 2012 my Insurance focus turned to Personal Lines and Small Commercial Accounts and in 2018 I obtained my Kentucky Life Insurance License and focused on working in the area of Commercial Insurance.
Something you may not know about me: In the Fall 2021 Issue of Independent Agency Magazine I was featured in Kentucky’s Top 40 under 40 Insurance Professionals.
Outside of Insurance I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as supporting our Kentucky Wildcats!
