Zach West

I joined Energy Insurance in June of 2022, prior to working as a personal and commercial Lines Insurance Producer I was a Police Officer for the Lexington Police Department where I was a patrol officer and a member of the Emergency Response Unit since 2017. I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky where I received a Master’s degree in Sports Administration and Leadership. A Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology. I am also a graduate of the University of the Cumberland’s with a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration.

While at the University of Kentucky, I was a member of the University of Kentucky Football team where I started as left guard on the offensive line for three and a half years. I chose to play for the University of Kentucky so I could play for my home state and help improve the program I watched growing up. While at UK I met my now wife Emma, where we both bonded over our love of sports, and taking care of our yellow lab Finn. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family and being active in the outdoors.

I joined Energy Insurance because as a born and raised Kentuckian, I value taking care of what we call home. Throughout my life, I have tried to give back to the community that has given me so much, and I will continue to do that in my career with Energy.
