Insurance Agent | Personal & Commercial Lines

Our agency is always seeking experienced Insurance Agents to join our team! This role focuses on selling Personal Lines products, Life insurance, and some commercial products.

Expected Compensation for this role:

  • Agents typically make $50,000 to $80,000 in their first year
  • Includes a base salary of $40,000 to $60,000/year, depending on experience
  • Plus UNCAPPED commission on new and renewal income.

What do our Insurance Agents do?

  • Be responsible and accountable to achieve annual new business production goals through consultative sales to new clients and cross-sell rounding of current clients.
  • Develop and manage an active pipeline of qualified prospects, generating leads from personal contacts, cold calling, networking, client referrals, and colleagues
  • Develop a sales and marketing plan to compete with other sales producers or companies who sell personal lines insurance and, outline niche-marketing strategies.
  • Work on multiple coverage lines including, but not limited to, personal property, general liability, property, and casualty packages.
  • Responsible for developing, presenting, and selling customized insurance programs that meet their Personal Insurance needs.
  • Review prospective and current insureds policy coverage limits, language, and accuracy for suitability and gaps.
  • Responsible for gathering all required information to obtain quotes on behalf of a client or prospective client.
  • Responsible for working with the client service team to service and retain current accounts.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong sales and/or marketing background with experience meeting production goals
  • Comfortable making daily cold calls and being self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A superior customer service attitude and approach to business.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License, Life Insurance License, or the ability to acquire.

Sales Executive | Commercial Lines

Our agency is always seeking experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Executives to join our team!

Expected Compensation for this role:

  • Agents typically make $50,000 to $80,000 in their first year
  • Includes a base salary of $40,000 to $60,000/year, depending on experience
  • Plus UNCAPPED commission on new and renewal income.

What do our Sales Executives do?

  • Manage the full sales cycle to achieve new business production goals by working with both new and existing clients.
  • Develop, present, and sell customized comprehensive insurance programs focused on individual client needs.
  • Collect detailed risk and underwriting information including survey data and loss history.
  • Collaborate with assigned Account Management team, and provide service to new and existing clients
  • Maintain production reports and attend all sales meetings as required.
  • Promote the agency in the community.
  • Keep up-to-date on industry standards and carrier changes

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Insurance Sales
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • The resiliency needed to pursue & close sales
  • Advanced Excel and MS office suite skills (Word, Outlook).
  • Comfortable presenting to business owners and C-Level executives.
  • Superior customer service attitude and approach to business.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Sales Executive | Group Benefits

Our agency is always seeking experienced Group Benefits Sales Executives to join our team!

Expected Compensation for this role:

  • Agents typically make $70,000 to $150,000 in their first year
  • Includes a base salary of $50,000 to $100,000/year, depending on experience
  • Plus UNCAPPED commission on new and renewal income.

What do our Sales Executives do?

  • Manage the full sales cycle to achieve new business production goals by working with both new and existing clients.
  • Develop, present, and sell customized comprehensive Employee Benefit programs and HR solutions based on individual client needs.
  • Partner with the Account Management team, and provide service & quotes to new and existing clients
  • Maintain production reports and attend all sales meetings as required.
  • Promote the agency in the community and network to generate leads and referral resources
  • Keep up-to-date on industry standards and carrier changes

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in Employee Benefits preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B or outside sales
  • An active Life and Health License or the ability to obtain one
  • The resiliency needed to pursue & close sales
  • Experience with MS Office products
  • Comfortable presenting to business owners and C-Level executives.

Sr. Account Manager | Commercial Lines

Our agency is always seeking experienced Account Managers to support our Commercial Lines clientele!

Expected Compensation for this role:

  • A base salary of $45,000 to $65,000/year, depending on experience
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Annual Merit eligibility

What do our Account Managers do?

  • Coordinate expirations with agents to obtain renewal and/or new business information.  Maintain expiration control log.
  • Provide in-house customer service to clients as assigned
  • Assist in marketing new and renewal business.
  • Check new and renewal policies for accuracy.
  • Delivery of quotes to clients.
  • Take phone calls from clients and companies’ requests.
  • Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, reports, and follow up on overdue and suspense items.
  • Maintain electronic and/or paper files in an orderly, up-to-date manner.
  • Perform special projects at management’s request.
  • Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Commercial Insurance industry working within a service capacity
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • An active Property and Casualty license

Sr. Account Manager | Group Benefits

Our agency is always seeking experienced Account Managers to support our Group Benefits clientele!

Expected Compensation for this role:

  • A base salary of $45,000 to $65,000/year, depending on experience
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Annual Merit eligibility

What do our Account Managers do?

  • Provide in-house customer service to our employee benefit clients
  • Oversee new client set-up, renewals, and open enrollment
  • Assist in marketing new and renewal business.
  • Check new and renewal policies for accuracy.
  • Coordinate agency compliance with HIPAA high tech
  • Act as a backup for our Sales Executives with clients and carriers as needed
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with each insurance carrier to satisfy our clients’ needs and facilitate the processing of business.
  • Maintain electronic files and daily correspondence in our agency management system
  • Perform special projects as needed

Do you have what it takes?

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the HR field, employee or group benefits
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience with MS Office products
  • An active Life and Health license, or the ability to obtain one
  • The ability to work in a fast-pace environment with multiple interruptions throughout your day
